A Simple Joy... Now
When I was searching for a home in the South, I never imagined I would spend much time outside after seeing the anoles. Honestly, I wasn't quite sure what to make of these little creatures running around everywhere. Haha.
Now I find their presence almost spellbinding, especially when one appears among the broad leaves of one of my tropical plants. I find myself watching, waiting, and reaching for my camera. There is something fascinating about seeing this tiny world unfold right in front of me.
I absolutely love capturing their world because, for those few moments, I'm not simply looking at an anole on a plant. I'm getting a tiny glimpse into its life. This is its territory, its hiding place, its view of the world.
This one even gave me a full show, almost as though it knew I was watching.
A simple joy now... just don't come too close. I would absolutely die if one jumped on me.
I'd Love to Hear From You.
Thank you!
