I created CASA as a place for the people, places, and small things that ask us to look a little longer.
I’m Rosa M. DiVirgilio. I have always been curious about lives lived. I am drawn to old places, gardens, handmade things, and those ordinary moments that hold a story.
I began photographing recently, and I hope I will always be learning. At first, I chased technically perfect images. Now I follow the feeling in an image and the story it might tell.
For much of my working life, I helped people make sense of complicated things. Retirement gave my curiosity a different path: photography, writing, and the chance to linger.
CASA is not about telling people how to live. It is simply about noticing how people live, what they make, what they carry forward, and what time leaves behind.
Some stories are personal. Others begin with a place, an object, or a small gesture I almost missed. I hope you will come in, pause for a while, and find something that stays with you.
