Wishing everyone a happy Halloween week! I took this photograph at Lake Waccamaw, North Carolina, where great cypress trunks rise from the dark water, their flared, twisting roots draped in Spanish moss.
Look closely at the roots and you’ll find three childlike shapes, as if little figures are playing among the trees.🎃👻
